What we collect, and why.
Short version: we collect what we need to cook for you and get it to the right place at the right time. Nothing else.
When you place an order
We store your name, email address, phone number, event date and time, the number of guests, your delivery address if you choose delivery, the dishes you ordered, and any notes you write for the kitchen. We keep the prices as quoted at the time so an old order always reads correctly.
When you request a proposal
The Catering Concierge collects your answers to its questions — the occasion, date, location, guest count, service style, menu interests, dietary needs, additional services, budget range, and your contact details. We keep the full set of answers as submitted, so a later change to the questions never leaves an old enquiry unreadable.
When you join the newsletter
Only your email address, and where on the site you signed up. Every message we send has an unsubscribe link and we honour it immediately.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We do not store card numbers or bank details. Payment is arranged directly with us.
- We do not send marketing to people who only ever placed an order. The newsletter is opt-in and separate.
Who else can see it
Our website and database are hosted by service providers who process this data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for anything else. Inside the company, only staff who need it to run your event can see your details.
How long we keep it
Orders and event records are kept as business records — we need them for accounting, and honestly, for remembering what you liked last time. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
Email or call us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep. There is no form for this — just ask.
